Mumbai, January 11 (ANI): Water crisis continued for the second consecutive day on Tuesday in Mumbai, after the city's civic agency, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), cut off water supply to many parts of the city. The BMC had called for water cuts for three days in the south and western suburbs of the city as the pipelines are being replaced. Most of the southern parts of the city are facing almost zero water supply, whereas other parts are faring slightly better. The residents are now mainly depending on water tanks, and with each pot of water costing 8-10 rupees, the poor are the worst hit in the crisis.
