Agra, December 29 (ANI): Boosting the country's surveillance capacity, India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) unveiled its indigenously designed and developed aerostat system in Agra on Tuesday. The state-of-the-art security gadget is capable of carrying electro-optic payloads for surveillance. To enhance the efficiency of the aerostat, the system has been loaded with integrated balloons systems, ground-based command and control systems, and modern payloads. The payload also carries a thermal camera for surveillance during night and in low visibility condition.

Security stepped up in Mumbai ahead of New Year

Mumbai, December 29 (ANI): Concerned with intelligence reports claiming that militants have entered India's financial capital to disrupt the festive season, Mumbai Police beefed up security to prevent any eventuality. The city was turned into a fortress, with police officials tightening security through stringent checks. Several CCTV cameras have also been specially installed at busy traffic intersections and key strategic locations in Mumbai.
