SC to monitor probe into 2G-spectrum scam

DRI officials seize gas worth billions in Chennai
2:20 Chennai, December 15 (ANI): Officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), functioning under the central Finance Ministry, seized about 65 cylinders of Chloro-difluoromethane gas worth Rs 25 billion at Chennai on Tuesday. The DRI seized 5 containers, which contained 65 cylinders of the gas. Each cylinder weighed 800 Kgs. Additional Director General, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Chennai C. Rajan, said that the importers faked their identity for importing the gas cylinders to India. People slam Cong for petrol price hike
