New Delhi, Jan 25 (ANI): Power equipment giant Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, on January 24th received a contract from Tamil Nadu Electricity Board or TNEB for a 600 MW thermal power unit valued at 24.75 billion rupees or $625 million. According to a statement issued by the company, the state-run company will set up the thermal power-generating unit at the North Chennai Thermal Power Station on an engineering, procurement and construction or EPC basis.

Lucknow/Ahmedabad/Mumbai, August 17 (ANI): Indian police arrested 10 people who are believed to be behind the bomb attacks, which killed at least 45 people in Ahmedabad last month. Bashir, who was arrested in Lucknow, is alleged to be the mastermind behind all the bombings. The other nine suspects are the active members of the banned Students' Islamic Movement of India or SIMI. Hemant Karkare, Chief of Anti-Terrorist Squad or ATS, also reported that some links to Maharashtra have been found out.
