Titled Kashmir: Paths to Peace, the survey by interviewing 3,700 people was released by the Chatham House think tank in London, which says that less than two percent of people in Indian administered Kashmir wanted to join Pakistan. SC asks ND Tiwari to undergo DNA test

New Delhi, March 14 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Monday directed Congress Party leader Narayan Dutt Tiwari, to undergo DNA test to ascertain his status in a paternity suit. The judges of the apex court said that the findings of the test would not be made public until and unless it is required by the court to decide the paternity suit against 85-year-old Tiwari. The bench said the report would be kept in a sealed envelope. The decision was taken, keeping in view the age of veteran leader. Rohit Shekhar, who had claimed to be Tiwari's biological son from Ujjwala Sharma, had last year filed a petition seeking paternity rights against him.

RBI hikes CRR by 25bps to percent

New Delhi, July 29 (ANI): Contrary to market expectations, the Reserve Bank of India, in its monetary policy review on July 29, hiked the Cash Reserve Ratio by 25 basis points to 9 percent. The repo rate has also been increased by 50 basis points to 9 percent. These moves are likely to push up the lending rates of the banks. The Central Bank has also raised the CRR by 25 basis points from the existing 8.75 percent.

Gun battle with militants continues in Kashmir
