Chennai, April 08 (ANI): A five year old Iraqi girl undergoes a bone lengthening surgery in Chennai for both of her upper and lower limbs. Five-year-old Naba would have grown no higher than 3 feet 8 inches when she reached adulthood. The Iraqi girl who was born with a normal trunk size, very short and flabby limbs was diagnosed with achondroplasia, a genetic disorder that causes dwarfness. Doctors used the routine Illizarov apparatus procedure on one of her upper limbs.

Former US Prez Carter in Nepal to monitor polls

New Delhi, April 9 (ANI): Securities and Exchange Board of India has reduced the filing fees for documents of public issues, buybacks and draft letter of offer while acquiring a company. Sebi will henceforth charge a flat fee of Rs 25,000 for public issues less than or equal to Rs 10 crore. Sebi has also amended the fees for custodians who will have to pay 0.0005% instead of 0.001%.

IOA invites Rahul Gandhi to carry Olympic torch
