Adarsh scam: Chavan meets Sonia, offers to resign

New Delhi/ Mumbai, October 30 (ANI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan, who was on Saturday summoned to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi in connection with the Adarsh Group Housing Society scam, said he has offered to resign. Speaking to reporters after meeting Sonia Gandhi at her 10, Janpath residence, Chavan said he had left it to the Congress chief to take a final call on his resignation.The Congress has meanwhile set up a two-member committee headed by Defence Minister AK Antony to look into the scam.
