New Delhi, October 17 (ANI): Hundreds of activists of Ali Sena, a Muslim forum, staged a mass demonstration in New Delhi on Sunday against the recent Ayodhya verdict. The activists holding posters and flags shouted anti-government slogans and expressed their anger against the High Court verdict in the Ayodhya land title case. MA Chand, national President of Ali Sena said that the decision has been pronounced on the basis of faith and not on the basis of proof and the thirty crore Muslims disagree with the decision.

The violence that began 12 days ago in Rajasthan has claimed some 40 lives till now. The dead are mostly protesters shot dead by police. Earlier, they had refused to cremate the dead, squatting with the bodies on rail tracks and roads leading to New Delhi, but eventually agreed to post mortems and cremation.

Blasts near Pakistan ordnance plant kill 59

Wah, August 22 (ANI): At least 59 people were killed and over 80 were injured in two suicide bomb blasts outside Pakistan’s main military arms factory in Wah Cantonment on Thursday. The blasts occurred near the heavily guarded complex, the hub of Pakistan's defence industry where about 25,000 workers produce explosives, ordnance and weapons in about 15 factories. It was one of the deadliest bombings in Pakistan since militants began a campaign of violence a year ago.
