Gaya, October 3 (ANI): Three Maoists, including a Zonal Commander of a banned outfit called Revolutionary Communist Centre (RCC), were arrested in Gaya, officials said on Saturday. Acting on a tip off, the police launched an operation in Shastri Nagar from where the rebels were arrested. Police said the rebels used to collect extortion money from various construction companies in the area. The Maoists attacks have increased in 2010. More than 1,000 attacks were witnessed in 2009 and 600 people were killed. The Maoists regularly attack railway lines and factories, aiming to cripple the economic activity of the country.
