Tirupur, April 24 (ANI): Protests against Sri Lankan military offensive against Tamil rebels flared up in India with a person succumbing to a self-immolation bid on Thursday. The 43-year-old man, identified as Subramani alias Banrottimani, set himself on fire at hosiery town, Tirupur in Tamil Nadu. He was seen talking as he was wheeled into a hospital. He died later at the hospital.
