Addressing reporters on the sidelines of a conference in New Delhi, Chidambaram said he was not aware whether Headley was linked to Mumbai attack, which left at least 166 dead last November.

Repair work resumes on Bhaderwah Chamba Inter-State Road

Jammu, July 13 (ANI): After being abandoned for the last two decades, the 147-km-long Bhaderwah-Chamba road has opened up 22 kilometres of repaired road to traffic. The road connects the town of Bhaderwah in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir with Chamba in neighbouring Himachal Pradesh. The road project has been sanctioned under the Inter-State Connectivity Programme at a cost of Rs. 730.33 million. Locals are happy with the initiative. The completion of the project will boost tourism, trade, and people-to-people contact, and will strengthen the local economy. It will also increase the potential of pilgrim tourism of Bhaderwah, which is known for several pilgrimages.
