Assam arms forest officials to counter poaching
1:8 Guwahati, May 22(ANI): Forest officials in Assam have been given arms and ammunition to counter poaching in the state. As part of the first initiative to strengthen the forest department, the forest officials have been given 7.5 mm revolver and 303 Rifles. Hussain also added forest officials would be given training in forest schools. The government also provided 5 motorbikes to the officials and promised that more such upgradation will take place in the forest department. Air India plane crashes in Mangalore, 160 feared to be dead
