New Delhi, April 26 (ANI): Kanwar Pal Singh Gill, former chief of Indian Hockey Federation (IHF), on Sunday alleged financial irregularities in the 2010 New Delhi Men's Hockey World Cup. The World Cup was organised by Hockey India, the top governing body appointed on ad hoc basis by the Indian government following the suspension of IHF. Addressing a news conference in New Delhi, Gill said that hosting the World Cup cost country over Rupees 150 million, while the IHF conducted the 12-nation Asia Cup in 2007 in Chennai at a fraction of the cost, at Rupees 8.7 million.
