Srinagar, February 11 (ANI): Life in Srinagar was adversely affected today as separatists called for a shutdown to observe the death anniversary of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front, JKLF, founder Muhammad Maqbool Bhat. The JKLF shutdown call has been supported by both factions of the Hurriyat group headed by hardliner Syed Ali Geelani and moderate Mirwaiz Umer Farooq. Shops remained closed and public transport was off the road in uptown and most old city areas of Srinagar.

ATS arrests two for planning terror strikes in Mumbai

Mumbai, March 15(ANI): The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Maharashtra Police on Sunday nabbed two persons who had reportedly; plotted to blow up storage tanks of the state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation. Talking to reporters, K P Raghuvanshi, chief of ATS said that these two militants had targeted three locations in Mumbai till now. He further mentioned that these people had established contacts in Pakistan and they were planning to carry out once again acts of terror in Mumbai.

Rizwanur, who wedded Ashok Todi's daughter Priyanka, was found dead on the rail tracks in a month after the marriage.
