Jhargram, July 25 (ANI): Women from Birhandi village in Paschimi Medinapur District have leveled charges of rape on CRPF men, lodging a complaint with the Sub Divisional Officer at Jhargram on Saturday. Corroborating their charges, several villagers claimed paramilitary forces tortured them during the anti-Maoist operation and raped about ten women in the village. Since their demand of punishing erring CRPF personnel was unheeded to, they knocked at the doors of the SDO, the villagers said.
