The work at Singur plant has completely been suspended.The company said in a statement that in view of the current situation,the company is evaluating alternate options for manufacturing the Nano car at other company facilities.A detailed plan to relocate the plant and machinery to an alternate site is under preparation.

At least 45 killed in Lahore blast

Lahore, May 27 (ANI): At least 45 people were killed and 273 injured when a massive blast shook the Civil Lines area of Pakistan's Lahore city on Wednesday. The blast occurred in 15 Building adjacent to CCPO office, where the additional inspector general of police sits. Gunshots were also heard in the area after the explosion that shattered the windowpanes of nearby buildings and destroyed many vehicles. The entire building, described as the provincial headquarters of the Inter-Services Intelligence was said to have collapsed.

Raghubir Yadav sent to judicial custody

Mumbai, June 06 (ANI): The Bandra family court on Saturday remanded actor TV and Bollywood actor Raghuvir Yadav into judicial custody till June 7. Yadav was arrested by Indian police in Mumbai on Friday, for ignoring court summons in an alimony case lodged by his estranged wife, Purnima. Earlier, Purnima had filed a case seeking maintenance for herself and their 19-year-old son after their separation in 1996. According to Sumanagal Biradar, Purnima's advocate, they both got married in the year 1988 and were separated in 2002, following which Yadav was directed to pay Rs 20,000.
