Palamau, December 28 (ANI): Maoists on Sunday burnt a couple alive inside a house in Palamau district of Jharkhand over a land dispute with a rebel commander. As per eyewitnesses, Divesh Singh and his wife, Devbrati Devi, were burnt alive at a Saraidih village. About 10-15 Maoist rebels raided the village, which is 180 kilometres from the state capital Ranchi on Saturday night and set the house on fire. The couple was sleeping while the house was on fire and later locals found a pamphlet on the spot terming the couple as 'police informers'.
