New Delhi, March 24 (ANI): India's interior minister, Shivraj Patil on March 24 said that the central government has plans to amend land acquisition laws in the country. While addressing a conference on rehabilitation of displaced persons in the national capital New Delhi, Patil said that agricultural land should not be acquired as far as possible for SEZ’s. Forceful acquisition of land by government for setting up of SEZ's had resulted in large scale violence in the country.
