School bus torched in Srinagar to enforce shutdown

Police recover bodies of Maoist victims in WB
1:19 West Bengal, May 3 (ANI): Police traced the bodies of four persons near Goaltor in Paschimi Medinipur district of West Bengal on Sunday. It was suspected that Maoists had slain the four persons. The police got information from a local source and they searched for these bodies at several spots in the nearby Bhalukbasa under Salboni Police Station limits. The police also relied on Gopal Panda, an arrested Maoist and based on his indications, several places were dug before stumbling upon these four bodies. Government okays World Cup tax exemption
1:49 New Delhi, April 01 (ANI): Government has extended Income Tax exemption for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 that would entail the organizers, to retain at least 450 million rupees. Minister of Information and Broadcasting Ambika Soni, disclosed this after a Cabinet meeting at New Delhi on Thursday. She also added that the central Cabinet approved the proposal of Finance Ministry for exempting ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 from income tax under section 10(39) of the Income Tax Act 1961.
