Added on: 06/04/2011Rajasthan, June 04 (ANI): Central government's latest project National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) that ensures better QLI (Quality of Life Index) among the rural families residing in isolated and remote areas was launched on Friday. UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi formally inaugurated the NRLM at one of the villages in Banswara district of Rajasthan. Classifying the mission as a significant step forward for the upgradation of the poor in the country, particularly the women, Mrs. Gandhi said the mission would bear fruit only if it is well implemented. Stressing on the significance of the new scheme, the UPA president said it would help rural women in becoming the bread earner of their families.
