London, September 16 (ANI): British Prime Minister Gordon Brown welcomes new Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari to his London residence on Tuesday. Their talks come in the wake of a recent rise in attacks in Afghanistan from Pakistan-based Taliban fighters. The talks are expected to include discussions on tribal areas along the Afghan border. The meeting holds significance in the wake of reports of a growing rift between Washington and Islamabad on U.S. cross-border operations.
